Well-trained and motivated employees are the key to your success. Our comprehensive training concept is tailored to the individual needs of your team. Especially when working with complex packaging lines, it is essential that your staff is familiar with the different machine components and is able to make optimum use of them. We therefore closely coordinate our modular training concept with you and the engineers of our plants and offer you customized seminars, instructions and expert training courses.
With our one on one on-the-job (OTJ) training our trainers accompany your team during production runs and offer their professional advice on maintenance and changeover operations.
Our classroom training is a modular group course that can be held at your premises or at our in-house training center.* It is targeted for your company and the group that you need trained.
Computer based training (CBT)* is a multimedia training module specifically adapted for the respective target audience and the existing equipment. CBT is independent, individual and interactive. It is the ideal tool to refresh and deepen your knowledge and to maintain optimum line efficiency.

*Classroom training and CBT options only available for certain machines, please discuss with your sales representative or customer contact if this option is available for your machine.
Our preventive maintenance agreements are designed to ensure consistent maintenance and upkeep of your machine. Each PMA is unique and set up to your specific requirements. The overall benefits of a PMA are endless and have already been outlined in many of our earlier blog posts. One of the things many don’t understand, however, are the benefits of a PMA starting within the first few years of the machine. Like with everything else you need to maintain, the earlier you start the better.
Establishing a PMA within the first few years of your Bosch Packaging Technology machine ensures the likelihood that your machine maintains original efficiency levels longer by establishing a strong relationship with your services technician early on in the machine life cycle. Your service technician can support you with expert analysis of any potential premature wear and tear, therefore reducing some unexpected complications that may arise. Also as a machine expert, they can support your own operators and mechanics through in-depth training to ensure that your associates are comfortable with the machine early on.
As your machine ages, your technician is then already involved with your machine and can better support you with the continued long term upkeep of your machine including upgrades, rebuilds, and much more.

Reblogged from In Production - A blog by Bosch Packaging in North America:
Preventive Maintenance is basic to any operation that involves equipment with moving parts. The concept reduces unplanned and costly downtime that can result from breakdowns as well as overall parts costs overtime. Implementing and executing a proper Preventive Maintenance Program is an investment to increase your operation's reliability and product throughput, and help to keep operating costs low.
Although many customers practice excellent Preventive Maintenance, there are also many customers using the “don’t fix it until it breaks” method.
